So I came in-world today with the idea of putting together a look for the Oscars tomorrow… needless to say I suffered a major FAIL.  I tried, I really did, but the truth is I S.U.C.K. at formal styling! After shifting through one beautiful gown after the other, my inner all-defying, five-year old came out to play and insisted I do the opposite of formal. And here we are, rock girl.

I’ve got a casual Friday look in Autumn colours today; in warm browns and burgundies.  I’ve got different shades of brown in the scarf, skirt and boots, and a good dollop of brilliant burgundy in the sweater.  To frame it all a little, I scattered some whites in there with the tights and the shirt — the fishnet tights also add some edge to an otherwise preppy feel. The bag is an ancient Armidi piece, with colours that fit just perfectly.
