So I came in-world today with the idea of putting together a look for the Oscars tomorrow… needless to say I suffered a major FAIL.  I tried, I really did, but the truth is I S.U.C.K. at formal styling! I’ve got a disheveled, casual look going today.  Like I got up too late and just threw on layers of clothes I found lying on the floor; which all just happened to be in gray and green hues.   And, because I won’t leave the house without accessories, I hung some heavy silver necklaces around my neck (with matching silver hoops), stuck my feet in killer stilettos, grabbed my bag and rushed out the door.

Here is a version of a big city, busy bitch.  The combination of the rock-hot leather jacket with the classic high-waisted pencil skirt speaks of a professional woman with attitude.  I added the over-the-knee boots in matching gray and little driver gloves and bag in a navy that compliment the fuchsia of the skirt to finish the look.

Here is what I wore this Friday night (in my desperate search for a hot night spot).  I started with the cool Bowie dress from Emery and then played with the blues and reds in the pattern to complete the look. I got the reds from my lips, nails and jewellery, and the blues from the two-toned leggings and detailing on the shoes.
