So I went shopping in Digital Darkes the other day and picked up this fabulous dress and these feathery gloves, which I though when beautifully together.  Both work perfectly for a glam girl look, which I topped off with these super-sexy, thigh-high boots from J’s.  I finished things with a messy and relaxed hair-do to counter the glam just a bit.

Isn’t it just fabulous! I was positively squealing when I got it on — the asymmetry, the prim sashes and the glitter — love it all! With so much going on with dress, there was no need for lots of accessories; I went with gold bangles and brown stilettos.

I’ve been looking with longing at this very, very sexy mini-mini-mini-dress every time I’ve been to pick up shoes at Kittie’s Lair — it’s the superb texturing that had me salivating; just look at those gold sequins! So today was the day, and I was determined to put together something very sexy but not slutty. It turned out to be pretty easy; I just added these black opaque tights, which wrap fashionably around the heel, and I felt the look was instantly transformed to that of an attention seeking starlet rather than a hard working porn star. My feet went into golden stilettos and I kept accessories to a minimum as the dress is so glamorous in itself.

Big hair was a given here, not only is it sexy but it actually provides a little extra cover for all that bare skin.

It’s absolutely made for the first row of a fashion show — and that’s where I wore it last night, for the launch of the new Altamoda Fashion Magazine by Ewing Fashion Agency. I added some sheer black tights, the ChiChi’s in black and then some classy jewellery from Muse. I modded Sienna from ETD to fit inside the hood.

On a side-note, ETD’s Blonde texture (my favourite, of course) looks even better in WindLight — Fab!

To get that strong yet sexy look, I started with the black blazer, which is actually from the men’s department, and then combined it with the sequinned booty shorts. I added a golden undershirt and my latest obessions, the Verve Pumps from Maitreya.

I couldn’t resist the opportunity to pile on the gold jewellery to spice things up. I’m decked out from hoops to cuffs in gold from Digital Dragon Designs, my favourite provider of serious bling. I also wore these uber-chic sunglasses, that come from a new (to me) shop, Kalnin’s Optics, for which somebody very kindly dropped an LM on me — whoever you are; thank you!

This dress gets full points for originality and for being very current. I love the one-shoulder cut and I adore the ruffle piece on the one shoulder — fabulous! One minor complaint is that the sculptie skirt prim just didn’t look good on my avie; of course, that’s very possibly just due to my shape. I opted for minimal styling with just olive coloured pumps, a matching clutch and some very discrete bangles and earrings.

I avoided necklaces and wore this chic and short hairstyle to really emphasize the beautiful line of the shoulders and neck.

I love this dress. It’s named after me, “Milla” by Punch Drunk and my little pixelated head is growing dangerously big because of it. Hence the ego trip. It’s always fascinating to see how other people see you, and I have to say I’m very pleased with Iris Seal’s interpretation. The dress is red, its unsymmetrical, one shoulder is bare, there are lots of beautiful flexi prims moving seductively, and most importantly, it’s unusual — all things that I love in a dress!

We all have at least one in our Inventories, and I dare say it’s THE most staple of garments for any fashionista. Well, I only had very little time to get dressed today and I was saved by this lovely version from Paper Couture — It’s sleek, simple and sexy. I kept accessories and shoes all in black and simply left a lot of skin (legs and shoulders) to glam it up.

I’ve seen some fully sculpted dresses around lately, but had not felt convinced that they would be nice. You see, I love movement in my clothes, so flexi prims are big favourites (sculpted prims cannot be made flexi). However, I like this dress! The sculpties allow for this gorgeous balloon/tulip shape that would not be possible (at least I think not!) with normal prims. Of course, this brilliant red colour does nothing to hurt it’s appeal.

The second new thing is what I call “textured” hair, granted this is not new, however, when they first appeared on the grid, I was very put-off by the overlapping alphas which made it flicker incessantly. Well, that is all gone now, and I have to say, I’m completely in love with this over-the-top, fabulous do, in fact I don’t ever want to take it off!

In conclusion, two big thumbs up from me for both of these new technical advances.
