I attended Instyle Fashion Agency’s gala yesterday, celebrating the selection of 27 beautiful ladies who will go on to compete in SL’s New Fashion Icon competition — -check out the Instyle Fashion Agency blog for more details. Anyhow, the dress code was “black tie formal” and this was my frock for the evening.

The Drama
As you all know Paper Couture recently released their Spring Collection and I was so very sorry to have missed the big show celebrating the occasion (why do we need Real Lives?) — anyway, I wasted no time checking out the Collection at their Tableau store and I was definitely not disappointed. I want to take a moment to praise Paper Couture; they are so original, unpretentious, highly skilled and blessed with a huge sense of humour — such a fabulous breath of fresh air in our often drama-laden fashion world.

Yes! I’ve finally shot my first pics in WindLight! I’ve had this enormous mental block against it for the longest time. I started using WindLight only recently (when it was included in the Release Candidate viewer) but I still continued to shoot my pics in the standard viewer as the Snapshot function is different borked in WindLight and because the idea of starting to fiddle with all those extra atmospheric settings was rather daunting. Then, thanks to Gillian’s comments in my last post, I decided to finally give it a go.
