Since the day mesh went live, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the first mesh release from Maitreya, and being the Maitreya fanatic that I am, my expectations were pretty high. So when the day finally came this week, I was ridiculously excited. And boy, did they deliver! This Nolita dress is just pure beauty, both in execution and in style.  It has taken the blogosphere by storm, and I’ve seen it in many different takes on different blogs, and I’m still not tired of looking at it. This is a 10 out 10 for me.

I love the change of season. Its so refreshing to put away the clothes you’ve been wearing for the last few months and pull out or buy new stuff.  I especially love Autumn and Winter as I can layer clothes to my heart’s content.

I’ve combined a heavy, silk dress with a chic leather jacket and cool, snake skin leggings. I added the high-collared blouse with a bow detail to keep it on trend.  I finished the look with posh riding boots.

It feels like I’m about to stride down The Kings Road for a shopping spree.

I’ve been quietly styling and learning how to use shadows in pics. My old iMac is finally able to do shadows! I’ve been posting my looks on Flickr, but I thought I might as well post them here too.

This look was born around the gorgeous, fringed Emi boots from Baiastice.  I paired them with my own Leather Dress (shameless self-promo) as a neutral base, and then added a big scarf and belt to make things a little more interesting. The wild hair from Truth was just perfect for the look; and I love the hair so much, the movement of it is delish! I finished with a cool bag and shades.
