The Drama
As you all know Paper Couture recently released their Spring Collection and I was so very sorry to have missed the big show celebrating the occasion (why do we need Real Lives?) — anyway, I wasted no time checking out the Collection at their Tableau store and I was definitely not disappointed. I want to take a moment to praise Paper Couture; they are so original, unpretentious, highly skilled and blessed with a huge sense of humour — such a fabulous breath of fresh air in our often drama-laden fashion world.
*more after the jump*
I fell in love with this cloud-like dream of a blouse as soon as I saw it — the drama of those sleeves! I decided to incorporate it into a business-like look for the uber-chic lady of the grid. To achieve that, I added the corsette from the same outfit and then teamed them with this very elegant little tweed mini from Tuli; I particularly like how the voluminous top part is balanced by the minimalistic bottom part. Maitreya’s latest Mishima Dawn pumps were just perfect here for that professional feel, and the large white bag from Muism just tops everything off beautifully.
Golden jewellery compliments the look nicely, with large earrings, a cuff and a luxury watch.

My anti-spam word to type in is: “love” and it fits, because I LOVE this. I agree that Paper Couture is just whimsical, beautifully put together looks…and the possibilities on mixing and matching are endless. I love the Lu Sisters! And I really adore the looks you put together.

The clothing or fashion market is a multi-billion-pound industry and the constantly changing styles that dominate it are largely dictated by well-known designers who showcase their new seasonal collections several times a year at fashion shows in cities such as New York, London and Paris so because it is something I am interested in I thought I would try my luck at getting a piece of the action and wright fashion blog – so I hope you don’t mind that I am scouring the net to get some idea’s from other peoples to see exactly whats hot and yours has giving me a few ideas for my new online look, Thanks
