Sail Away
A cute little seaside inspired look for today.
*do the jump for more*
I’m really loving the new Elephant Outfitter release and this striped shirt was my starting point today. I went with the obvious sailor look and paired it with a plain black miniskirt and then simply scattered some bright reds throughout — the ballerina flats, the matching belt and the neck scarf — to give the look some flavour. I apologise for using a scarf that has been discontinued (it’s vintage ETD), but I simply can’t resist it! Being modifiable it’s so incredibly versatile; I can re-shape and re-colour it to my hearts content and I would love to see it re-released — wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
I finished with a sea-inspired necklace from CRAP — who I would like to applaud for providing the necklace in two options, attaching to Chest and Spine, making my life so much easier.
