Rock Romantic
A favourite mix of mine today; romantic dress styled to a rock-chic look.
*continues after the jump*
Three things I adore: the uber-cool little leather jacket (love the shorter sleeves!), the gauzy and dreamy dress, and the fierce tights — I’m so happy I get to wear them all at the same time! I opted for the white velvety wedges for a hint of ballerina and to match the dress of course, and I added lots of jewellery with silver bangles, double necklaces and very large hoops.

Hi Milla – Extremely adorable and cute outfit. I really love how you added the necklace from the p.c. outfit. I have that p.c. outfit which I love and would never thought of that mix up…so creative. Awesome!!

Thank you !

Just a quick FYI, the necklace is from Earthtones, by Lucas Lameth, not Earthstones! The outfit is adorable, btw.

I always love your outfits, but this is so adorable, I think I just came. Yes, I do have a fetish for toeless socks, oh I do.

Oh and yes, Earthtones not Earthstones! Beeeg meeeestaaake. I find it sad they both have such a similar name, why oh why.

It seems like the product list was much longer for this but everything came together so well! So many things on this list that I don’t have and I want now.

Oh my God! For all this time — since Lucas Lameth opened his fab store — I’ve been calling it EarthStones!! Duh! Suppose it’s better to learn late than never

that looks wonderful, Milla! I especially like the choice of accessories – very carefully picked… you took your time there, girl!

I ran straight out to buy that jacket, but with all the crazyness of SL yesterday, my purchase went through (albeit slowly, and it gave me two purchase messages so I thought I’d been double charged, but I was not)… however… the inventory never arrived. So a few hours later after I was sure it wasn’t just an inventory delivery lag, I dropped a notecard on the designer. She picked up today… but…. no jacket was delivered.
Maybe she’s still having inventory problems too… I can hope….! Because my little avie shoulders just won’t feel snuggly until I’m wearing that jacket! hee hee

OMG I love how you combine some outfits like this one!
And what I love even more is the way you sort out the shops so I know were to go.
Keep on rocking!

WOW. This looks extremely similar to a couple outfits I have posted on my flickr account. Check out the name: BAAAATES. We must be kindred spirits.

Hi I was just looking at your website and you have some beautiful outfits.. however I’m new and there’s something I don’t understand how to do. What do you do when two parts of an outfit attach to the same part of the avatar? In this case the dress and the jacket both attach to the spine. I feel dumb asking and if there is a tuitorial on how to do this I would very much appreciate knowing. Thank you for any help you can give me

Hi Greenley, and welcome! It’s actually a very good question: I usually change the attachment point for one of the prims. In this case I took the babydoll prim skirt and re-attached it to Left Pec (this is actually a better location for a babydoll skirt as it will follow the body more naturally). Now, before you start changing attachment points, make sure you keep a copy of the original prim if you should mess up
Good luck!
