Stop Content Theft
I wanted to add my voice to the protest and just encourage all of you to do your part in protecting our beloved content creators. It’s really simple – don’t buy rip-offs! Make sure the shops you go to are legit and that the products on offer are indeed by the seller. If you are unsure, ask somebody (you could even contact me personally, I’d be happy to help) before giving them your business.
Last Call Sale
I’ve also been wanting to recommend that you get as many outfits as possible from the final Last Call Sale .
Most of the time (but not always) I try to not feature clothes that are no longer available, so that you guys can easily recreate the looks. However, Last Call clothes are so fine I’m going to find it really hard not to use any of them once they’re gone. So, you can expect me to feature them for a long time still to come. I personally spent a silly amount stocking up on all the outfits I didn’t already own, but I don’t expect you to do the same. I would especially recommend any outfits with pants, as I’m yet to see any other designer come even close to the detail and quality of Last Call pants. Also, these outfits come jam-packed with tops and jackets on all kinds of layers, making them a must-have for mixing and matching.

I have written a blog post in Portuguese about this and have a more longer one to post also in Portuguese. The thing is: most of the recent content theft has been done by people that speak Portuguese and, of course, don’t read fashion blogs in other languages. I believe it is important to have blog posts in all languages concerning this issue.

Thanks for reminding me about the Last Call sale, I’ve been avoiding it until now because of the lag issues, but now I really have to get down there and stock up on these goodies.

I totally agree with you on the Last Call Pants. Tho I am seeing more designers follow suit with prim cuffs, which I just love!
I only recently heard of Storm Schmooz’s shoes and popped over for a looksey.. grabbed some demos and now I need to find time to get back!

The LC sale is really a gold-mine and considering they will be gone forever after, I’m convinced all those pieces will become sought-after vintage items.

I actually started the Last Call sale by going back through your entries to find items from the store that I liked. It was interesting that in some cases it took a while to find the outfit the item I was admiring came with, because it was packaged so differently. Which just goes to show how much versatility Ginny’s creations had.
Of course in the days to follow, I completely lost all sense of restraint and went on a complete LC binge anyway.
