Sport-Chic

After yesterday’s excesses I needed a dose of sleek simplicity.

It comes in the form of this sporty-chic look that I adore — this is a look you should be seeing more of in RL fashions for the spring and summer as well. The pink jacket is what embodies the look I’m trying for with it’s clean lines and geometrical details, and to enhance the sportiness, I paired it with these white leggings and a high set ponytail. Now, as a true fashionista, I couldn’t leave off the stilettos (would I ever!) so I wore these delicate nude heels, which I think puts the “chic” into this look perfectly.

I’m not quite convinced about the brown bits on the jacket… perhaps they’re too similar to your skin tone
    but otherwise… stunning combination

    You’ve done it again..i love the top..but the pants..hmmmmm.

I’m have to agree with Elaine. I’m not sure about that jacket. At first glance, it looked like it had cut-outs that showed your shoulders and a bit of tummy/hip. I can see now that it’s a tan color on the jacket that happens to be a near-perfect match to your skintone, but I’m still not sure that I am liking it (the color/pattern really as the style is great.) But I disagree with Nico – those leggings are fab, especially with those heels.

Incidentally I like that Armidi’s leggings are modifiable, so I have a few pairs of the white ones that I’ve tinted to match other outfits. One of my favorite outfits to pair them with is the PixelLounge ‘Princess’ outfit from Pixel Dolls – I tinted the leggings a pale pink and wear them on the underwear layer beneath the fringe skirt, then pair it up with black flats or the Tesla Liquorice heels for a ballerina-ish look.

Anyway I am rambling. Too much caffeine today I think. You look cute, even if I’m still not sure about that jacket pattern. :D

I thought the jacket was better when I thought they were cutouts – rather than tan strips.

But I’m on my 4th glass of wine this evening, so I should shut up.

You look fierce, as aways Milla.

I agree on the tan parts on the jacket; they would have been perfect in maybe a darker pink or just plain white – but I still LOVE the cut of it! :)

Nico, you don’t like white leggings, what? ;) I’m with Meara on that one :) Oh, and what a good idea to tint them! I never thought of that.

    Fashion Cheat #67 (random number – I made it up :P )

Whenever I find something that comes in multiple colors that I really like, I check to see if they have it in white, then I check to see if it’s modifiable because if it is then you can just modify the color to suit whatever need you have for the day. So for example, rather than buy all of the new off-shoulder sweaters from Armidi, I bought one white one and tint it to whatever color I need. It’s a good way to stay fashion-savvy while on a budget.

I figure I make up for it by buying every color available in their shoes. :D
