Earthy Hot…
Here’s an earthy and hot look to get you noticed.
The dress is one of those that really does all the work on its own. It’s sexy, well cut and well textured — I especially like the lacy texture on the skirt prims. However, there is a big drawback; the price. At 800L$ it’s perhaps stretching it a little.
Nevertheless, it’s definitely a dress I like and enjoy wearing. I paired it with a pair of knee-high brown boots, wood jewellery and super-sexy hair.

hahaha - “FIERCE”
I like Tres Jolie’s stuff, but the price is what turns me off from them so I’ve only bought one thing from there (the slinky little orange mini at the far end of the store.) Still, I think Iota is massively talented and I love her products - just wish they wouldn’t stretch my pocketbook so much!
Nice to see one of her creations featured, and you look fab Milla!
The boots are a PERFECT match
I agree Meara, the designer seems very talented indeed — if it were not for the prices, I would have bought every dress I think.
I forgot to mention in my post that I received the LM for the store from someone and I forget who! Anyway, many thanks to that person - I always love receiving tip-offs like that.
Dear Milla,
Thank you for taking the time to write about my work in SL.
I too agree that the prices are a little higher than most fashion businesses in SL, however if one considers the time that goes into the design of these pieces the price of a coffee in RL is hardly a huge ask!
Some of the textures I have created for your delectation have taken weeks to develop. They are totally unique and hand-painted; all brought to you by me, an RL fashion designer and architect, not a hobbyist and certainly not someone who downloads free textures from the internet to produce a “new” or more likely appropriated design every few hours, only to sell the garbage at 100L a pop! THAT is what I consider a rip-off, not to mention unethical.
The fact that I value my time and design abilities is actually to your advantage and it gives me great pleasure to work that little bit harder to provide stylish SL women with an exclusive product that will not be seen on every second avatar.
Kind regards,
Iota Ultsch, CEO Tres Jolie
Hi Iota

Thank you for commenting here, it’s always very interesting to hear from the actual creators.
First off, let me be clear: I’m definitely a big fan of yours and I recognise the high quality of your work - no argument there
I suppose I’m mostly curious about why not sell 10 dresses for L$300-400 instead of maybe 1 or 2 for L$800? Granted, I’m not a designer in-world and I don’t own a business so there may well be many aspects of the pricing that I’m not aware of.
Let me finish by mentioning that your prices are actually not in the highest category any more and that there are many more expensive shops (with perhaps questionable quality)out there. I know I will be going back for more of your dresses.
RE: I suppose I’m mostly curious about why not sell 10 dresses for L$300-400 instead of maybe 1 or 2 for L$800?
Because i’m not Target dahling! LOL!
Ugh, I hate it when people claim to be “RL designers” or whatever and think that this gives them any credibility or excuse to charge ludicrous prices for flat-assed looking textures and skirts that look like they were generated with those freebie skirt creation scripts. I don’t care if you create textiles in your sleep, it doesn’t mean you know how to port these designs realistically into a 3D environment.
I’ve seen freebies with better quality and shading than that. And “handpainting textures” is being done by others much better and more affordably than this joke of a dress. (See Casa del Shai or Nicky Ree for good examples.)
