Sweet Stripes
A cute and casual look.
I started with this adorable stripy sweater that has some very good texturing with a hint of glitter baked in — and you have to love the little prim flower! I teamed it with a pair of wool slacks and then layered some tights and socks underneath. My feet went into my current favourite ankle boots. I added the little neck-scarf and the side-tie belt to kind of echo the stripes of the sweater and then finally I added the simple string of black pearls and some black hoops for my jewellery.

Love love love this outfit! Tried to find the “tweed” pants at GLAM but came up short… the only crop pants I saw was with a “satin corset jumpsuit,” might that be it?

Stacia, the tweed pants are displayed in the store on the left-hand side (on Viva La Glam sim, if you stand with your back to the Miam Miam store)– it was still very empty when I was there and they should hopefully still be easy to find — I hope you do find them as they are a great basic staple for the season.

Well this reply will surely get me branded as the dumbest avie in SL…. sigh… but… I’m in the Via La Glam sim store, with my back to Miam Miam, there are 11 outfits against the left-hand side wall… Outfit #4 from the left says tweed, but they are long pants (and the design is very different). Outfit #5 from the left is the only pair of crop pants shown, but the outfit is called “Satin Corset Jumpsuit,” and it’s hard to tell from the black and white display if these are the right ones (they don’t have cuffs like your photo, but rather a slouchy pants hem). Maybe they’ve switched inventory recently? Feel free to tell me I’m just a bothersome dork… ;->

Hello again Stacia — I certainly don´t think you´re a dork or bothersome
It sounds to me like they have added more stuff to the store. Unfortunately I´m not in-world these days (not until Jan 4th)so I can´t help with slurls, however, those tweed pants you mention sound right, there are both slacks and cropped pants included in the pack… I hope you manage to find them

I finally figured it out! (yes, I’m slow). There are *two* GLAM stores in this sim. I went into the one with the “Glam” sign on the building — which if you are creative about thinking that “diagonally across the street” still means Miam Miam is at your back — is where I thought I should be. However the store that has these lovely tweed crop pants is the *other* one — it (currently) has a silver bow over the front door. At the risk of further self-humiliation I figured I’d post this confession just in case anyone else shared my navigational issues this week (perhaps I’m just in a shopping daze? yah, that’s my excuse… lol). Thanks again Milla!

Hahaha! I´m glad you found them
