Strapped In

I found a new-to-me designer today and picked out this jacket and pant set.

I was checking out Storm Schmooz’s new main store on Modish when I strolled into one of the neighbouring stores; UK Couture. I really like the jacket with all the little straps and belts — I have a thing for military/uniform-esque clothing and this here appeals to that side of me. My only complaint would be that I would like it on all the layers (it currently only comes on the Shirt layer) to make it really versatile. I added a tank in black underneath for some extra cover. I’m wearing the white pants on the Underpant layer for a really skinny look. That skinny look was accentuated nicely by these funky boots and the wide belt in silver.

Im glad you discovered UK Couture! I emailed you awhile back when I first discovered it…my only complaints are there are no prim attachments, everything on the clothes are flat, causing some items to be sadly very one dimensional. Also the long coats that do have lower half attachments do not align quite as nice as the ones the model wears in the display. But the designer definitely has a good eye and very good designs.

Yes, I remember you e-mailed now! What a flake I am! :) Keep those tips coming though, I really appreciate them :)
I agree that this designer has a good eye, and I’m hoping they’re going to evolve further and become great :)
