Fashion Statement
This last Thursday I saw the fashion show put together by Digit Darke (of ex-X3D) and Bianca Foulon (of Bianca F) and I have to say I was very pleased with what I saw. The theme was PunkyRomantik and the designs were both colourful and powerful. These are clothes for the strong and confident girl — your are guaranteed to make a fashion statement wearing this line.
After the show I was invited to pick out my favourite outfit and my choice fell on this fabulous piece. If you’ve read this blog before, you’ll know that I love unusual and original dresses and this one fits the bill perfectly. The colour combinations, the gorgeous yellow tie and the asymmetrical hemline all come together beautifully. The shoes are also original in their design in the form of a little bootie/pump combo with silver details.
I’ve been a fan of Digit Darke since discovering X3D way back in my noob-days and I’m really happy to see that she is still delivering the goods. I can’t wait to see what else will be coming out of her design studio for this Autumn/Winter.
This is the latest version of The Bombshell from Armidi, perfect with this dress.

Honey Golden
This gorgeous coat just popped off the screen for me whilst perusing the Fashion Planet Feed this morning, and I fell instantly for the soft honey golden texture — don’t you just love when that happens!
My instant infatuation proved to be well deserved once I put the coat on — I love it! The texture was just as nice as the pictures promised and the coat skirt is so flirty and full of movement I find myself skipping around like a silly little girl. I didn’t have to do a lot for this look, just some shimmery leggings and cute pumps in a brown colour that picks up on the fur trimmings of the coat.
I’m still wearing the same hair from yesterday, but I thought it was appropriate here too for that 70’s feel.

Some everyday chic with a zebra flavour.
I have a pair of dark skinny jeans with a beautifully textured tunic as the base. I then scattered the zebra accents throughout the shoes, the bangles and the large bag. I also added the gloves and the black side-tie belt for a little bit of chicness.
Sexy and lush hair to finish off.

So I stopped goofing around and went lady-like.
The reason for the switch was these lovely black pumps — from another fantastic new shoe designer! Us shoe-a-holics are getting serious overdoses of gorgeousness lately. These latest are by Storm Schmooz Footwear and it was Ben Vanguard over on SL Men.com who tipped me off. I adore them! I also adore this cocktail dress in black and silver - it has some fantastic texturing.

I was feeling a little silly and goofy today…
The black sweater is really nice, and I particularly like the front pockets or muffler — a nice unusual detail. Goofy as I was feeling I threw on a mini-mini skirt and then covered up the legs with leggings and funky socks. I stuck my feet in really chunky and super-high platform sandals for a bit of funky.
HCT released some new hair and I picked this nice and quirky updo for today — I really love the bangs.

Feeling for some classy elegance.
I was walking around one of the Japanese shopping centers that have become so popular of late and found some little pearls. The little fur cape is just so lovely and it inspired today’s elegant look. I also found the white blouse at the same sim and it works perfectly here. For a really elegant line, I opted for high-waisted pants (rather than a classical skirt) and then finished off with ruffle ankle boots.
This elegant ponytail was the perfect hair-do. My only jewellery are the black pearl earrings.

Today we mourn the loss of one half of the incredibly talented duo of Last Call.
In tribute, the splendid Arachne.

An everyday chic look with jeans.
I’ve had my eye on this wrap/shrug for a while, and today it was time to blog it. I combined it with a white tank with some nice detailing, dark blue jeans with a heavy belt and these fun, furry boots.

A fashionable pixie cute look for today.
The fashionable part comes from this gorgeous and fun dress — I love myself some volume in my SL clothes! I kept the legs bare to really underscore the voluminous-top-skinny-bottom profile. I accesorised with silver pumps and jewellery, and a white chic bag on the shoulder.
The cute comes from this pixie-style hair that I just loved for today’s look — it keeps the sexiness level at a sweet low.

A more down to Earth look today with greens and browns.
I liked these green jeans, and as coloured jeans have been featuring in RL Autumn fashions I wanted to give them a try. I went for a casual look with the classic unbuttoned white shirt and a little waistcoat. I wasn’t able to take off the gorgeous boots (my latest love) from my last post, so they stayed on another day, but I really like them for this look as they give it a hint of chicness. The same goes for the animal print bag that is just fabulous.
The hair is curly and slightly on the wild side (thank God ETD is back!). Simple gold jewellery, my beloved hoops, the cool mixed tape necklace from Yummy, and some golden large bangles.
