Dressing Down

I saw this gorgeous silk dress and felt for doing something a little different with it.

I have to start by saying how fine this dress is! The silk texturing is sublime and my favourite feature, the leather belt under the bust, is just so well made — very Bottega Veneta! I’m not big on formal outfits though, so I opted to dress it down to a slightly boho-ish look. I did that by adding a black jacket, the scarf and boots. I also kept the hair casual and wore no jewellery. A word of warning, it can be really difficult to wear jackets on top of flexi-dresses as the black material of the jacket will show through on your buttocks, however, I managed to edit and modify the flexi-dress to an acceptable fit — and it wasn’t difficult as the dress is very well constructed.

I love how you made this dress more casual by picking the right accessories to go with it! I bought these boots after I saw them with another outfit in a post a while ago and thats all i wear now lol :)
