Comfortable and warm for a Sunday in the park.
Browns and purples today. The cowl-necked sweater in a gorgeous purple provides the colour, which I then surrounded with browns in the cap, the shorts, the boots and the bag. A little plum/purple peeks through in the socks and the nails too. The leather wristbands provide some additional brown “framing”. I covered the legs in basic white leggings for some brightness.
A chic and sleek look for a girl with business on her mind.
I really like the black-and-midnight-blue combination, and here I’ve played with it throughout the look. The centre piece is the wonderful waistcoat in a deep indigo (with some fantastic texturing and shading going on as well). I added a ruffled blouse, the black low-slung skirt and knee-high boots. Midnight blue gloves and stockings, and the dark purple bag pick-up on the waistcoat, and the hat finishes it all beautifully.
Here is another dress from my shopping expeditions to Armidi. Casual and chic today.
Again a word of warning; the glitch pants are on the underpants layer only, which makes it difficult to wear tights underneath, however, I still wore opaque tights as I didn’t really mind the two little gaps at the front of the dress (but I really hope Armidi will eventually provide glitch pants on both Pants and Underpants layers). The texture on the dress is just gorgeous (and the reason why I’m willing to forgive the glitch pant problem). For a more covered-up daytime look, I added a cashmere turtleneck sweater; also from Armidi (Men). Then, I echoed the fuchsia with the pink pumps from Tesla, and finally, I wore another version of the fabulous Gordie Bag, in a dark purple.
This “SuperPony” was my clear favourite of all the hairs on offer at Armidi — I love a good classic pony tail.
So, like everybody else I’ve been shopping at the new Armidi. I was in the mood for something cute and casual and opted for this cherry red baby doll top.
First of all, a word of warning: the red top does NOT come with glitch pants; I believe it was meant to be a top and not a dress — you can read more about the whole Armidi glitch pant issue over on Be Less Stupid. I solved the problem by creating a new pair of system glitch pants and colouring them in the same cherry red. I then paired the top with these brown leather pants (worn on the underpant layer) and brown peep-toe pumps and the gorgeous bag. Finally, I added chic boho-style necklace and hoops.
I thought this hair-do with the wide hairband tinted to the same cherry red worked wonderfully.
I haven’t done a Versatility post for ages (i.e. where I put together different looks from the same base piece). Today I’ve used the Shift dress as the base (from Last Call’s Ginny outfit), because a shift dress is an excellent basic that any style conscious Av should have in her inventory. It’s the perfect blank canvas for any look — here I offer up 4 variations for your perusal.
#1. I started with the DIVA
It’s a look for some serious partying in the trendiest of nightclubs, she is dripping in diamonds but she still has an edge. The black boa does almost all the work here, I only added sheer tights, black studded pumps and a clutch. I then went with a platinum spiky updo and smoky eyes for that edge.

I’m feeling cute and sporty today, so I wanted a perky little outfit.
I love the blue dress from ETD, very versatile indeed. Today I paired it with the white shrug for a more causal look, and leggings and ballerinas for the sporty part.
This pony tail is a new release by Truth and I thought it a perfect fit for my look today.
At first look this is a casual outfit incorporating some of this Autumns colours. However, there is a little surprise from behind.
I combined two tops with detailed backs; the purple velvety v-neck and the teal/turquoise under shirt. I teamed them with a pair of brown-grey pants, and socks and wedges also in purple and turquoise. I accessorised with classy and discrete gold jewellery in the form of a tank watch, ring, necklace and bracelet.

Here then, is my account of last night’s perfume launch “Elle” by YSL.
I definitely had a pleasant time, we were treated to a presentation including a speech and a rather cool promo video. I liked the build of the sim, all in bold fuchsia to reflect the design of the bottle. Residents can explore the sim for the next 3 months after which it will close. During the time it stays open it will be dedicated to art, which YSL staff were keen to stress was something they were focusing on as sponsors of FIAC. Residents can submit artwork for exhibition through e-mail to laurent@andreamedia.com.

Today I attended the launch of YSL’s new perfume “Elle” at their new sim of the same name (YSL Elle). So, I needed a business-like look with lots of glamour and chic-ness.
(I will be reporting on the actual event tomorrow, after I go and sniff the perfume in question in my nearest make-up store.)
I chose this satin corset jumpsuit set from G.L.A.M (bustier and gaucho pants) for the occasion. I added the cowl neck top, matching stockings and leather gloves for some colour and extra cover , and the boots (a given!).
Another gorgeous new hairstyle from ETD — I have a weakness for sexy, big hairstyles….
