Coats and Tartan Love
There have been many excellent new coats released of late and I have been wanting to blog one for awhile now. Today is the day, and I decided to go for an English/Burberry-feeling look.
The coat has a girlie skirt hem that that works wonderfully with these fabulous tartan (plaid) stockings — I love the bow-details! These court shoes are just perfect here too, and they are really worth an extra mention as they are just fabulous.
I accessorised with my new favourite handbag, matching leather gloves, cute beret and a brooch. This is my first brooch in-world and I love it! More brooches please!

I love those socks, even if I couldn’t possibly match them with anything of mine and probably would look odd in them. With this however they look just great
I too am in a coat phase (I have the Natascha and Kats Meow so far), I hope more designers will be churning them out as the season progresses.
Yes, more coats! I would love to see some gorgeous capes for example. Also, a nice open coat would be lovely, so that the clothes underneath peak through. The socks… yes I adore them, they are made to such an incredible high standard (as is the norm for Shiny Things) and I had been itching to wear them somehow. I find myself liking socks a lot this season…

Great picture, nice combinations. Love the coat and the socks. I could see myself wearing the coat but those kind of socks would be something new for me.
