I do like the boho-look, and here is one that’ll take you from summer to autumn.

I’ve played with shades of brown: I started with this lovely, silky dress; next I covered up the shoulders and arms with a mini-sweater with wonderful slouchy and long sleeves; and then I covered the feet in yummy socks. I like the combination of the luxurious silk of the dress with the thicker knitted sleeves and socks. The shoes pick up on the turquoise in the dress, and the jewelry is also in shades of brown.

I love this hair! The scarf is perfect for this look and the hair itself is just gorgeous. I went with rather dramatic eyes with beautiful eye shadows in black and purple, and which kind of feels slightly hippy to me.

I’ve been drifting more and more towards autumn fashions and more covered up looks lately. But it’s still summer most definitely! Here is one of my favorite summer dresses of the season that I had still not blogged.

It’s the Luau Dress from Karamia — I love everything about it, the colours, the cut, the pattern… just lovely. In fact, I’ve added Karamia to my Newcomers list as I love pretty much everything in that shop. I accessorised with the new jewelry from Last Call and the new wedges from Maitreya.

I needed something that looked elegant, chic and effortless for a business event.

The sheer brown top is just lovely. I opted for a clean profile, pairing it with white silk slacks, discrete gold jewelry and matching sling backs.

So I’m still in combat mode today. Yesterday was about uniforms, and today I’m more of a foot solider.

The military style jacket and the old boots give this look some attitude, and the low-cut white tank together with the short and flirty skirt give it some girlie sexiness for a nice mix-up. I’ve kept the jewelry to a minimum with a cute necklace, silver hoops and a ring (that ring has not come off my finger since I bought it!)

My favorite braids look perfect here. A bit of colour on the lips today for a little sexy.

I felt for something a little edgier today so I headed for Canimal.

I ended up with this alternative to the little black dress. I paired the uniform-like jacket with a little tiny mini-skirt. The ripped silk stockings are just sexy and a nice balance for the strictness of the top. I finished off with chunky sandals and lots of diamonds for some contrast.

I was just playing around today with pieces new and old from my inventory; and I ended up with this.

I’m having trouble categorizing the look, but I think it would fall somewhere between rock-chick, casual and glam. The center piece is of course the wonderful padded leather jacket - very original indeed! I paired it with sleek black pants, and then I added a slightly strict gray top to balance the sexiness just a little. I accessorised with a silver/gray wrap belt and matching clutch to give the look a little bit of glam.

The hair is straight and sleek, and the make-up heavy on the eyes with peachy lips and blushed cheeks.

Now that I’ve embraced the fact that summer is drawing to an end, and autumn is inevitably coming, I’ve started looking seriously at the autumn collections being released in-world. My first stop was (of course) Paper Couture (I know, so very late and far behind all other fashionistas). This outfit here was my first pick.

How gorgeous is this? The high-waisted leather skirt, the corsette detail on top of the jumper, the over-sized turtle neck — just fab!

Only heavy duty jewels will do for this super diva; diamond earrings and a diamond ring of considerable size. The bag is also Paper Couture and just divine.

I would also like to draw your attention to my shoes.

Casual Sunday today, with a little sporty feel to it.

The blue top is actually a dress (mini-mini-dress!) but I like how it also looks like a loose tube top with a wide elastic hem - it also has something of a tennis dress about it. I continued with white leggings and matching blue ballerinas and finished with white leather wristbands (although I really wanted to wear white sport wrist bands but couldn’t find any) and delicate silver hoops and necklace.

I felt for something sweet and demure today, and, as I will be “working” in SL I wanted a professional feel to the look.

The lovely feminine blouse with the puff sleeves is just so sweet. I paired it with these tweed city shorts and black tights for the professional part. I accessorised with simple sweet silver jewelry, a chic bag and black cute pumps.

This is a nod to autumn coming: we have long sleeves, tweed and tights. Usually I love the change of season for all the new clothes that become available, however, the summer-to-autumn also feels a little depressing and I’ve been slow to catch on…. sigh…

The hair is pulled back in a classy pony to continue on the sweetness. The make-up, however, is stronger and darker with some pinky hues to add just a little edge to it all.
