An easy-to- wear casual look today. I pulled out some old favorites and mixed them with some new stuff.

image-1_17jul2007_13.jpgimage-2_17jul2007_5.jpg

I paired my all-time favorite jeans with the sexy biker jacket that I just got at the Last Call sale, and then I just added a white tank underneath. For jewelry, I went with silver hoops, a girly platinum heart necklace and a silver bangle. I finished off with a pair of navy sling backs that have also been favorites of mine for a long time. A pair of ankle boots would have looked good too, but I felt for a more feminine flavor and went with the sling backs.

The hair is casually pulled back in a pony and the make-up is a classic smoky eye/nude lips combo.

Anna Sui-esque

Monday, July 16th, 2007

I saw this dress over on Style Disorder and had a vision of an Anna Sui-esque (spring/summer 07) look that I really like. This is how it turned out.

image-1_16jul2007_19.jpgimage-2_16jul2007_16.jpg

The dress is probably a bit too sexy (with the plunging neckline) to accurately represent the look, but I still think it’s a good Second version. It is deliciously big, poufy and girly and sways beautifully in the wind (note: there were no glitch pants included with the dress so I made a pair of white system pants that you can’t see, but that are very necessary as the swaying will reveal your naked behind when yo walk). White knee-high boots (with system knee-high socks) and a white scarf are all the accessories needed.

Anna Sui-esque
This hair with the chopped bangs and strands covering some of the naked shoulders was just perfect. I went for non-girly make-up to avoid looking sugary sweet and to add a little edge.

Romantic Hip

Friday, July 13th, 2007

I’m still away on my little break and I’ll be back in the weekend.

Meanwhile, here is another look (that I prepared earlier) following my latest trend of boho/country/rock-chic dressing.

image-2_xxjul2007.jpg

I like dressing down a romantic white dress with a jean jacket — looks romantic but kind of hip. Large gypsy hoops and the belt add a bit of boho feel; and the bangles and the necklace a little hipness.

While putting this look together, I had trouble finding a different jean jacket (as the one I’m wearing is discontinued) and would like to ask if any of you, my dear readers, have any good tips for where to find one — and while you’re at it, let me know of any good (non-fetish) prim belts out there too. Thanks!

Romantic Hip

Following on the romantic feel, the hair is gathered loosely in a pony and the make-up has the focus on the eyes.

Beach Party Girl

Thursday, July 12th, 2007

When you read this post, I’ll be lying on a beach and only moving my lazy behind to turn myself over, and maybe to reach out for a cool drink… Yes, I’m on a little break and this post is something I prepared earlier.

Needless to say, my inspiration is the beach! I’m thinking of one of those ad hoc beach or pool parties that just seem to happen out of nowhere. The look is cute and perky.

image-1_12jul2007_9.jpgimage-2_12jul2007_18.jpg

Love the pink! The pink halter is paired with the cutest little flirty skirt and some pink bangles and discrete silver jewelry, that could have just been thrown over your bikini.

Beach Party Girl

The hair is short and held back by a cool hair band that comes all the way down the back. Make-up is minimal with my favorite freckles and slightly pink lips.

Country Girl

Tuesday, July 10th, 2007

After yesterday’s super accessorized look I felt like getting down to basics today.

image-1_10jul2007_18.jpgimage-2_10jul2007_24.jpg

Dark denim capris and a denim waistcoat (with a very sexy cut) paired with a crisp white tube top looks and feels clean and fresh. A minimum of accessories with only a pair of leather wristbands; the tube top also has a lovely little silver star embellishment. The cowboy boots felt just right for some sexy.

Country Girl
This hair with the chopped bangs was just perfect for that country feel, as was light make-up and freckles.

SightSeer

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Here is a summery and chic look for a day of sightseeing in a new city or sim.

image-1_09jul2007.jpgimage-2_09jul2007-7.jpg

The chic brown top is girly and sweet, yet not at all plain thanks to the corsette-like detail. I added a white flirty skirt that was not too short, and matched everything with black and wite mary janes and a black and white shoulder bag. Plenty of accessories for this look; bangles picking up on the browns, a delicate silver necklace and small diamond hoops. The white neck scarf is the final touch.

SightSeer
The hair is very girly and abundant (love this style) and make-up is rosy.

Boho Love

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

I’m really enjoying the boho trend currently sweeping over Second Life fashions.

image-2b_08jul2007.jpgimage2c_08jul2007.jpg

I wanted a slightly sexier look, so I opted for this new tunic and shorts set from Canimal and added a pair of sturdy boots. I accessorized with a mix of wood and gold jewelry and whipped up a little neck scarf myself as I couldn’t find one anywhere.

Boho Love
I added sexy hair and full lips that pick up on the brown-reds in the outfit.

His And Hers

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

Last Call had another fab new release yesterday with new outfits for the girls AND the boys — Trev and I went shopping!

image-1_07jul2007.jpg image-2b_07jul2007.jpg

My favorite was this deliciously glam gold lamé top — right up my ally! I decided to go all out on my gold fetish and piled on gold necklaces, gold bangles and gold hoops, and of course a pair of gold sandals so as not to neglect the feet. The distressed jeans balance all the glam perfectly, making this a great look for summer nights and days. Trev went for the Ribelle jeans and T-shirt, and I have to say the T-shirt is just so sexy! Also, the jeans sit nice and low on the hips and has the slouchy sculptie leg attachments that we so love.

His and Hers
Big glossy hair felt right for this look, and the make-up is heavier on the eyes with nude lips as all that gold is glitter enough.

Juicy!

Friday, July 6th, 2007

I felt for a double-dose of colour today and I found exactly what I was after in these lovelies from Surf Couture.

image-1_06jul2007.jpg

This is a relaxed and sporty look, made special by the juicy colours.

image-2_06jul2007.jpg image-3_06jul2007.jpg

I went for the sportier look, adding white sneakers, as I felt it would go well with the pink string-waisted leggings. I then added girlie jewelry — gold hoops with little hearts and a gold necklace with a pavé heart pendant. I also put on chunky colorful bangles that echo the stripes in the sweater.

Juicy!
The hair is gathered in a loose pony and the make-up is light, pink and summery.

Everyday Rock

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

An everyday look with a little rock-chic attitude.

image-1_05jul2007.jpg image-2_05jul2007.jpg

I recently spent some lindens in artilleri, I had not been there for awhile and was pleasantly surprised by the many goodies I found. This very cool dress is a great example, it’s named after an all-girl Swedish rock band called Sahara Hotnights, and in that spirit I went for a daytime rock look. The print on the dress is fabulous and doesn’t really need at lot else, so I just added leather wristbands and bangles together with plain black hoops. The black lace-up calf boots felt just perfect for some added attitude.

Everyday Rock
The blond braids is such a typical Swedish look and I couldn’t resist wearing them. The make-up is adventurous and glittery to keep the look rock and not plain.
