Benefits of Lag
The grid would not let me TP anywhere today — not nice for a shop-a-holic in desperate need of her fix! Instead, I started to dig deep into the darkest, most forgotten parts of my inventory and found this lovely little thing.
It’s a beautiful daytime dress from PixelDolls that I had completely forgotten about. As soon as I put it on I felt all girly and cute. It has a lovely pink texture with black detailing. I picked up on the black with the shoes and the hair band. I also added discrete silver jewelry (bracelet, necklace and hoops). I have to say, the lag today brought something good — I didn’t spend a single linden, yet I feel like I have a brand new outfit!
This high and big pony with the cute hair band is a lovely girly do that I find myself wearing a lot.

Mercury Preview
I’m sure most of you have read the hype about Mercury lately. I have to admit, I was a little suspicious or skeptical about all that marketing, thinking that it would be difficult to live up to the expectations. However, I’m happy to say that I was wrong! I was invited to the pre-opening of the shop today and I really liked what I saw. The Whitfield sisters (the designers behind Mercury) were funny and witty, and their styles eclectic and exciting. Most of all I love how different and original their designs are - something I will always welcome with open arms. I would most definitely recommend you go and have a look.
This outfit here is the Neo-Amelia and it was a gift to all those attending the preview. I decided to have some fun with it and added torn fishnets and platform shoes for a little punk (the outfit also comes with some funky yellow fishnets that I’m not wearing here).
This unusual hairstyle is from ETD and will be released soon. I received this early copy as I was a beta-tester, and I had struggled to think of a way to wear it - until now!

Gold It Is
Today I needed a kind of casual look that still had a little glam to it.
The capri jeans give the casual feel, and the golden tank top and neck scarf add the little glam i was after. I couldn’t resist the slightly too glammy and golden mary janes, but then I’m a sucker for gorgeous heels.
One of my current hair favorites - I just love the bangs! For this look, I like how the hair rests on the shoulders, adding texture to the look.

Wrap Me Up
How I love this elegant, understated sexy look. It was love at first sight when I found this dress yesterday.
The wrap-dress cut hugs the hips seductively and reveals just the right amount of neckline - its just fabulous. Very Diane von Furstenberg. I only added some very expensive-looking diamonds around my neck, a matching clutch and black stilettoe slingbacks. I’m ready for dinner at Nobu.
Only the most chic hair on the grid would do here; ETD’s Naomi. The make-up is glam, expensive and nighttime.

Same Day Variation
This post is a continuation of today’s earlier post.
Going about my SL business today, I unexpectedly needed something less sexy than what I had put on this morning, so I needed to tweak my look.
I switched the sexy halter for this gorgeous baroque-style blouse from Barerose — I really like the contrast of the couture-like top with the casual bottom. I also changed the stiletto boots to sturdy flats, the belt to a plain snake skin one, and I added a little handbag to give a sense of purpose to the look.
I’m loving my new Shiny Things snake skin belts (that for some very strange reason I had completely overlooked for all this time, and that dear reader Selena Jaxa tipped me about) and my Barerose handbags - I wear them all the time!
I made no changes to hair and make-up, but look at the detail on the blouse!

Rock-Sexy
Some rock-chic sexiness today.
This sexy see-through halter with matching bra, works wonderfully with the classic combination of mini skirt and boots. I added the sheer tights to echo the sheer top and simple leather accessories (belt and wristbands).
I kept the hair feminine and sleek to avoid looking trashy, and the make-up is my one of my current favorites with dark eyes and lips.

Monday Mood
It’s Monday and I didn’t feel like getting all done up so I just threw on something casual.
A pair of nice blue jeans together with a crisp white top always looks fresh and clean. For some minimal accents I added a snake skin belt and discrete silver jewelry. I picked up on the white with the leather wristband and the casual sling backs. The bag in hand felt kind of right.

A stylish pony and natural make-up continue on the “fresh and clean” look.

Slip Into This
It’s Saturday night and this girl is in seduction mode.
This white slip dress is somewhere between a negligee and a dress; evoking just the right kind of naughty thoughts. ![]()
To avoid the “out in my nightie” look, I added glamorous and expensive looking platinum and diamond jewelry and a clutch bag.

The hair is glossy and luxurious, but with that sexy just-out-of-bed look. The make-up is glittery with pink and inviting lips.

No commentsResort Couture; The Next Day
So I’m still in Riviera mood (see yesterday’s post), but now it’s daytime and time for some shopping, or maybe some lunch, after a lazy morning on the beach.
This is the year of tunics and kaftans on the beach, and the one I’m wearing here is perfect for throwing on over the bikini. I added some golden-khaki shorts, matching bangles and large hoops for some fashionable glam.

This new (coming soon) ETD hairstyle is my new current love object - I can hardly take it off! Luckily it goes beautifully with this beachy daytime look. Sunglasses are of course a must.

I spent last week down on the Italian Riviera and found myself surrounded by super-chic, honey-bronzed, glamorous women with a serious shopping budget. Today’s look would have been just right for cocktails in one of the many trendy night spots.
The loose and voluminous cut of the dress, together with the Pucci-esque print, equals perfect summer chic. Add to that lots of gold jewelry and some sexy classic strappy sandals and you will be ready to take on the most fashionable of crowds.

This hairdo (which is a new style and texture from ETD, and should be coming out soon) is just perfect with the luxurious waves of blond. I’m still wearing the same make-up from my last post as I’m in love with the slight blush on the cheeks.
