Oh What a Lovely Day!
This was a lucky day for me! First off the very generous Elika Tiramisu of ETD gave away a willow pack of her newly re-textured Alexandra III (previously The Pullback II) to her update group - I just love it! Next, there was a buy-one-get-one-free sale at the Oh! What a Neat Boutique (OWNB)! How I love a good sale!

My best find at the OWNB sale was definitely this Future Vintage Dress, which I thought went well with the new EDT hair. However, I’m not sure how to classify this look… is it causal? Chic? A bit boho? I’m gonna have to leave that up to you. All I can say is that I would wear this daytime… perhaps on a shopping spree.

Shorts At Work
Looking fashionable and professional at work.

This is an idea for how to wear this season’s shorts whenever you need or want to look the business without sacrificing on style. I’ve paired these shorts from Last Call with a long sleeved lacy blouse and a waistcoat to balance out the bare legs. I accessorized with red jewelry and shoes to break up the black and white. The hair is simply pulled back in a pony and make-up is elegant with red lips.

Club Night
Your heading to the hottest club in town and there’s a table reserved for you in the V.I.P. section…..

This fabulous number is one of my all-time SL favorites - intricate, sexy and original - love it! It’s the Wilhelmina from Last Call.
The shoes are the Lolas from Shiny Things and they are the only platforms I’ve been able to find that are not hoochie - so I end up wearing them all the time! The platinum jewelry was a freebie from the Last Call Update Group. I like to think that the sleek hair (as opposed to big hair, that I’m also partial to) keeps this look more Vogue and less Playboy.

Boho Babydoll
I imagine this outfit for a Saturday morning running errands and then meeting up girlfriends for lunch.

Comfy but gorgeous dress, this one from Canimal, with boots that you can walk around in for hours (Shiny Things). Did not have a lot of time to fix hair, so it’s slighly unruly, just held back casually by hairband. Favorite jewelry from Yummy and funky bangles from Cake. Sunglasses are of course a must this time of year (PrimOptic). A huge leather, slouchy bag would top this out perfectly, however, I couldn’t find anything like that (but who needs a bag in SL anyway).

Triple Take
Here’s an example of how versatile a dress can be. The dress in this spread is from artilleri, and even though it is rather original and particular in its design, it works in many different looks.

In this first one, which I like to call rock-chic, I added a jean jacket from G.L.A.M together with fishnets from !Wrong and calf-boots from ETD. Funky braids from Gurl6 top it off perfectly.

Exchange the jean jacket for a white shrug, this one from Blaze, and add cute ballerinas (Shiny Things), and voilà - a sweet and innocent look. Hair from ETD.
Want to glam it up? Let the dress itself do all the talking. Just add some strappy heels (LC Vamp) and sexy hair. Cuff from Earthstones.

Just Jeans
At heart I’m a jeans girl, like I’m sure many of you are too. You just can’t go wrong with a good pair of denims.

Here I’ve paired dark and slightly ripped jeans from Last Call with a silky camisole from Nevermore Studios for an effortless sexy look.
And in this one, I’ve gone for lighter jeans from Nyte’N'Day together with top and white jacket from Last Call, for a more covered-up version.

I’m afraid I couldn’t help myself, I just had to glam it up with some big hair and glittery shoes….But I did keep the make-up reasonably sober. Silver jewelry from Yummy (necklace) and Reminisce (bangles). Shoes from X3D.

Shopping Chic
This is an excellent little outfit that I like to throw on when I’m heading out for some serious spending.

The red blouse is from Julex, as is the belt. The capris are from Celestial Studios, and the shoes from Shiny Things. The icing on the cake is of course the fabulous saddle bag from Deux Filles - très, très chic!

I’ve gone with gold jewelry; the earrings are from Cailyn’s (freebies), the necklace from Yummy and the bangles from Earthtones. The obvious choice for make-up was lushious red lips. The only accessory missing here is the poodle on a leash.

Freakum Dress
This post is inspired by “Freakum Dress” by Beyoncé. If you haven’t heard it, a Freakum Dress is what you wear to get your man’s (or woman’s) attention back if he’s been neglecting you. And what I’ve got for you here is guaranteed to get attention…Sequins, sequins and more sequins!
Starting off with this silver and black number from Oh! What a Neat Boutique (OWNB). It’s sexy yet classy and a little cute.

Next up is this gorgeous turquoise dress from X3D - this is my personal favorite. It hits current trends with the simple cut and with the super-mini skirt length. We are taking up the sexy a level; showing off a lot of leg.

Last, but most definitely not least, comes the uber-sexy Fashionista from Last Call. To pull this one off, I would suggest a large dose of pretty-girl-attitude!

I’ve kept accessories to a minimum here, as these dresses are more than enough on their own. The make-up follows the contrasting theme of the outfits - bare skin vs glittering sequins - bare lips vs very smoky eyes, and I chose big hair to balance out all that bare skin.

Savory Waistcoat and Sweet Bolero
Here are two takes on waistcoats/boleros - starting with the rock-chic waistcoat.

This is definitely a look I like, the don’t-mess-with-me-attitude feels really hot. And who does not like to hide behind dark glasses every now and then? Keep them guessing.

Waistcoat from ETD, tank from Last Call, jeans from LF Designs, necktie from Freaky Designs, boots from Shiny Things, sunglasses from Primoptic and bangles from Earthtones.
Now for the sweeter take with this gorgeous gold-sequined bolero from X3D.

This is pure summer-glam to me - deliciously golden and innocently white. But not too innocent, the sexy golden sandals keep it sensual. Goes perfectly with honey-bronzed skin and rosy cheeks…
